Welcome to Golden Era official site
Alexander Okunev and Idan Itzhayek are two experienced composers working across cinematic and stage music. Idan has composed music for numerous stage productions, musical theatre shows, and feature films, while Alex is a recognised name in the trailer music industry, with his work featured in a wide range of international trailers. Having known each other for nearly two decades, they joined forces to create Golden Era, a cinematic musical experience built on powerful storytelling, emotional depth, and an epic sonic identity.
The Renaissance is often described as a golden era
a time when art, science, and creativity placed the human being at the centre of the world.
The modern age is also seen as a golden era
defined by progress, speed, technology, and efficiency.
GOLDEN ERA builds a bridge between these two moments in history and asks a simple but unsettling question
what happened to the human along the way?
Through a clear and immersive structure, the audience is taken on a journey from a world where identity was visible and personal
to a world where value is measured, time is monetised, and presence is no longer required.
The transition is not explained.
It is experienced.
At the heart of GOLDEN ERA is a live orchestra performing an original cinematic score that moves between intimacy and power, emotion and tension, beauty and urgency. The music leads the audience through shifting eras and states of being from openness and discovery to acceleration, pressure, and saturation to moments of silence, absence, and reflection. Minimal visual elements appear throughout the performance, grounding the audience in time and consequence, while a single striking symbol becomes an unforgettable image of the world we now inhabit.
GOLDEN ERA is a cinematic orchestral spectacle that connects two defining worlds the Renaissance and the modern age and places the audience directly inside the space between them. Created by composers Alex Okunev and Idan Itzhayek, this large scale orchestral performance transforms the concert hall into a cinematic environment where music, time, and human presence collide. This is not a classical concert. It is not a historical tribute. It is a powerful live experience that feels urgent, contemporary, and unmistakably human.

GOLDEN ERA speaks directly to modern audiences living inside the world it reflects.
It is a show about progress and its cost.
About identity, visibility, and replacement.
About what we celebrate as advancement and what quietly disappears along the way.
A cinematic orchestral performance of international scale.
A bridge between eras.
